If you find that your website is loading slowly despite all your best efforts, then it might be because it hasn't been optimized properly.

RAGE Webcrusher is a website optimization tool which reduces the time it takes for your website to load in a web browser. After you've completed a website, run it through RAGE Webcrusher and it should be optimized in less than five minutes. RAGE WebCrusher works by reducing the size of your image files as well as your web page code. It accepts websites from most major design apps including iWeb, Rapidweaver and Dreamweaver.

Five minutes is quite slow for such a tool but it seems that RAGE Webcrusher does at least cover every possible angle so it's definitely does a thorough job. What's nice is that Webcrusher gives you a high degree of control over what you 'crush' or compress on a website via an easy to use GUI. You can even preview what images will look like after they've been processed.

According to some users, however, it can vary in effectiveness based on which application the website has been designed in. For instance, in iWeb and Rapidweaver, you can expect less effective results than in Dreamweaver. RAGE Webcrusher is also only suitable for those that self-host their website so for example those that have blogs on blogspot.com and wordpress.com won't be able to use it.

RAGE Webcrusher is nevertheless a very easy-to-use SEO optimizer which should improve the loading times of your websites.
